KEVIN & KIM MACFEE

Kevin & Kim pioneered Chi Alpha @ Embry-Riddle in 1997.  Their kids are all grown now > Elle & Nate live in Prescott > Broc & Haven live in Searcy, Arkansas > and Rye goes to school at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. They look for every opportunity to hang out with their kids > nothing encourages them more.

Though they’re ‘the old guys’ now > they love the craziness that comes with serving university students more than ever. On Tuesday nights students smash into their house for a home-cooked meal, lots of laughter & heart-felt stories of faith from their friends.

Kevin & Kim met in Minneapolis while going to school (Kevin>Pastoral Studies, Kim>Elementary Ed) where they had a ridiculously good college experience (one of the reasons they're so stoked to help you find a remarkable story while in Prescott)

Kim grew up in Payson, Arizona, riding quads & water skiing @ Roosevelt Lake.

Kevin grew up in Bay Village, Ohio & loves the opportunities we get to explore beautiful places across the southwest.

MATT & MAUREEN SIMPSON

Matt & Maureen have served @ Embry-Riddle for 12 years. They have 4 kids: Olivia (14), Eli (13), Amaiya (10), & Isaac (7). Like most families, they spend a lot of their time racing between dance rehearsals, hockey practice, school & church. They lead worship on Friday nights @ Elevate & spend time mentoring students.

Matt & Maureen met in Springfield, Missouri, while attending Evangel University (Matt> History, Maureen> Psychology) where they still have a lot of friends & a ton of great memories.

Matt grew up in North Irwin, PA, & is a huge Pittsburgh sports fan. Zion National park is his happy place and loves canyoneering.

Maureen grew up as a military brat and claims the St. Louis area as "home". She loves creative arts, hiking, and spending time with friends.

DEVIN STOVER

Devin is a veteran of all things Chi Alpha. He’s been full send from day one as a freshman right through graduation & onto our staff team. 

Devin graduated with his degree in Computer Engineering in Spring 2019. After securing a job in his field, he felt a tug on his heart to return to Prescott to dive deeper into pursuing the hearts & souls of students. Devin continues to grow as a catalyst for community in ways that began while he was still a student leader. Volleyball, pickleball, climbing, game nights >> he’s constantly dreaming of ways to invite students into real and right relationship. 

Devin grew up in Rockford, Ohio >> he loves Hawaiian shirts, rarely goes a day without making a pun, and has some epic beard-growing skills.

NATE & ELLE BRAWNER

As a student at Embry Riddle (2020 AE Grad), Nate found Chi Alpha & wasted no time diving into close friendships & unforgettable adventures.

Elle grew up in Prescott & started attending Chi Alpha when she was 4! (She’s Kevin & Kim’s daughter). She grew up watching students make honest attempts at loving God & one another.

Nate & Elle met while Nate was serving on leadership & Elle was back from college serving on staff. They got married, moved to Iowa for Nate’s job at Collins Aerospace, & now are back in Prescott serving on staff.

They both mentor students, Elle is a part of the worship team, & Nate runs the monthly guys hangout (dude group). In May, they had their first baby, Stella. They spend their free time showing her the southwest & staring at her sweet face.
